Web Design is the general term used to describe the various tasks involved in creating a web page. Someone who designs for the web is concerned with the front-end appearance and interactivity of a website.
The Information Systems Group provides creative web-based services including interface and website design. After establishing a design concept, the Adobe Creative Suite is our primary tool for execution of all designs, but we have experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio and other products. The Web Design staff partners with the Application Development staff to create full-bodied applications that are unique and comprehensive. Together, we merge programming with layout utilizing languages, scripts, and styles such as asp.net, jQuery, html, css, and xml among others. Our visual solutions are based on Graphic Design Principles and Elements to ensure a professional and cohesive product.
